I have been summoned to visit our factory for training which was scheduled long ago for further exposure on work last week. It was Saturday when I took the flight there and this time, I will be going to Pattaya for training and then to Bangkok for a meeting. And it was also the first time that I experienced traffic jam at the runway instead of the normal roads where it delayed me for an hour to arrive there. Besides the journey from Bangkok to Pattaya took me 2 hours. So by the time I arrived at Pattaya, it was already late in the evening. Luckily this time, there was no unusual crawl on the expressway.

The training was pretty fruitful as it was also the opportunity to meet up with a few fellow colleagues of mine from Indonesia, Japan, India and Korea. We have been hanging out a lot apart from work. I gues it was a chance for us to know each other better. And to tell you the truth, if it's not for the crowd that I am with, Pattaya would not be an interesting place for me.

"Good boys goes to heaven, Bad boys goes to Pattaya" was the phrase I saw printed on the shirt of a tourist as soon as I arrived at the Montien Hotel. I kinda agree with what is written despite our daily routine of meals at the 99 diner where I have been having my medium raw cooked tenderloin steak daily with a couple of Singha beer and then to the nearby agogo bars for a few more beers at the Walking Street. Beers in Thailand is pretty cheap though. And you know what? I managed to squeeze in some time to visit the Ripleys' Believe It Or Not museum with Yanto where we did all the amazing things.

The 3 days visit to the factory was awesome... and guess what? We had the chance to build our very own tires. I was pretty freaked out as I have never fix up a tire ever in my life, especially from nothing but rubbers. I hope the Quality Department did a thorough check on the tires we made. I don't wanna risk any legal law suits... hahahahah
We then head back to Bangkok staying at my very own room which on the 12 floor this time. The journey back took us 2 hours and it was terrible. And you know what causes the torture? In the middle of the journey, I had to rush for the toilet to do a number 2 urgently and the best is, there's no public toilet until we arrive at Bangkok. The driver wanted to stop on the driveway and I told him "NO! I'm not going to do it HERE!" It was totally embarrassing as my fellow colleagues were there. An Indian colleague of mine gave me a very good trick for the torture and soon after, my need for a number 2 subsided immediately. Thanks Harkesh! You saved my day!
Back in Bangkok, besides the meetings that we had with my boss, I managed to meet up with some friends of mine as well. This time, I drove myself around to places that I want to go and had a chance to cruise along the Chao Phraya River as well. Of course, it will have to be in the late evening. Although the journey was tiring, but it's amazing. I kinda miss Bangkok this time!
